Book Experience:
As the name suggests “The Power of Positive Thinking” the author demonstrated case studies of some great personalities around him and the people who consulted him. He has shared practical ways such as doing prayer, giving affirmation, believing in himself/herself, and a lot more. I heard before reading this book that this is a religious book. See, it is about spirituality to live life powerfully. At the beginning of this book, I found this book very complicated. However, slowly and gradually mentioned stories and conversations have made it easy for me to realize. Believe me, if you flick through the book, then you lose out a huge of this great book. That’s the reason I would recommend taking the proper time to read this book thoroughly.
Some of the chapters at the end included key points, concrete techniques, and formulas to discover positivity, break worry habits, solve problems as well as practice faith. Lastly, some of the chapters are so touchy that it took me to the juncture of Landmark Forum and reconnected me.

I’ve read this book many times. The author, Norman Vincent Peale, also started Guideposts Magazine, which features stories of inspiration, faith and hope. I would not call either the book or the magazine “religious” but both contain wisdom on how to live your best life regardless of your particular religious affiliation. No matter what religion you adhere to (or don’t adhere to), the one thing we have in common is that we are all human. Deep down, people are good. This book shows you how to be better.
